good home runs sleep
I'm not disappointed at all. It's the first outing, man. If I were to give up 100 runs I'd go home and get a good night's sleep and come back tomorrow.
running somebody
Even if he wanted me to go in the ninth, I'd have told him to put somebody else in there. I was running out of juice.
atmosphere fans gave people run stadium surprised yankee
I was surprised by the atmosphere in the stadium in Chicago. The fans were loud. Yankee Stadium can be loud. Those people gave them a run for their money.
expected last picking pirates run win
It's a little different vibe. Being in Boston, you're expected to win every night. Here, they're picking us to run neck-and-neck with the Pirates in last place.
ball percent run
If there's a ball in the gap, Manny Ramirez will run 110 percent after it.
anybody guys hit home league national realize runs traded
I didn't realize when I got traded over here that these guys scored more runs than anybody in the National League and hit more home runs than anybody. So, they put up some runs.
bullpen entire four happy red run solid
My role, because I'm versatile, it can change, and it still could, ... Even if I run off four more victories, I could be in the bullpen for the entire playoffs. I'm just happy to be a part of the roster of the Red Sox and be solid on this team.
giving helped runs
To make it through that inning just giving up two runs really helped out a lot,
good home runs sleep
If I go out there and give up 100 runs I'll just go home and get a good night's sleep and come back tomorrow.
against games good knew last looks race season sure three tight time yankees
I'm sure everyone looks at the standings at one time or another. We knew the Yankees would be there from Day 1. We knew it would be a tight race and it will probably come down to the last three games of the season against these guys. They're two good teams.
felt fine pleased
I'm not pleased with the results, but I felt fine physically.
base forgot funny looked might nobody pitch swung third
I immediately looked at Dale Sveum and forgot that he was my third base coach. He might have tipped him off or he might have just been aggressive. I don't know, but I thought it was funny nobody swung at that pitch all year.
kindness swing
I'm pretty much over it now. I'm kind of getting into the swing of things.
definitely everybody hurt ways
Not having him around is probably definitely going to hurt us a little bit, but everybody is a professional around here and pretty much set in their ways anyway, so we're going to try to go forward.
