expect
From what I'm hearing, I wouldn't expect him to be back before the All-Star break.
From what I heard, if he's back before the All-Star break, they'll be shocked.
change decisions discussion hurt involved obviously people relationship rested
I don't think a lot of decisions rested on just Theo's shoulders. I think a lot of people were involved in having a roundtable discussion and having different ideas, so I don't think it will change all that much. Obviously it's going to hurt some because of the relationship he had with the players.

age brought closer door easy enjoyed felt friendly front gap gm honesty level people table
I enjoyed having him around. I think he brought a lot of honesty to the table as a GM and also, he's kind of closer to our age group, so it was easy to communicate with him. The door was always open. People always say that, but it's hard, a lot of times, when you have a big gap in age. A lot of times people aren't as friendly in front offices, it can be more like a principal-student thing. With Theo, you always felt like you were on the same level as him.
area basically blood expect flow hard hip infection knock rid tough trauma
I wouldn't expect him to be back before the All-Star break. The infection he's got is pretty tough to get rid of and because he already had one replacement there's no blood flow in that area so it's hard to knock it out. So it's going to be basically take the hip out, knock out the infection, put a new one back in. That's a lot of trauma on the body.
deal love playing signed stay
I wouldn't have signed this deal in any other place. I love playing here and I want to stay here for my whole career.
almost believe identical last lucky pitch throw
I got lucky again. I'll just keep hacking. I really just couldn't believe where the pitch was. It was almost identical to last time. I thought he was going to throw me away and it was still kind of middle-in a little bit.
believe lucky pitch

bit breaking coming early easy fastball feeling felt fifth giving innings momentum pushing quick stopped strong taking wind
I got some easy outs in some quick innings with some changeups to the lefties, ... Coming back and taking the lead, giving us momentum after the fifth inning, I just started feeling strong and stronger. I felt like my fastball was livelier. The wind stopped pushing so much at my back, which I think made my breaking ball a little bit better because early on I didn't think it was good.
balls breaking feed threw
I didn't want to feed him fastballs. I threw him some breaking balls off the plate.
betrayed felt tough
I don't feel like they betrayed me. It's just a tough situation. I'm disappointed. I felt like I had done enough around here that they would keep me.
beat picky
I was going to be really picky and not let him beat me with a long ball.
atmosphere fans gave people run stadium surprised yankee
I was surprised by the atmosphere in the stadium in Chicago. The fans were loud. Yankee Stadium can be loud. Those people gave them a run for their money.
