came guys page pat ready saying soon
As soon as the guys came in to pat me on the hat, the only thing that they were saying was just, ?One more, one more, one more win. Everybody's on the same page and we're ready to go.
shut
We shut them down as a team, I don't think it was any one person that did anything that special.
confident feeling felt good reacting start
The whole start of the year, I felt really good and really confident on my feet. It's a good feeling when you get back to that same feeling on the ice. You're not second-guessing your moves, you're just reacting to the shot. That's the way you've got to play and that's the way you have success.
andy doubles great hands phenomenal strong
Andy is just a phenomenal leader. Andy is a very strong doubles player. He's got a strong serve. He's got great hands at the net.
best friends-or-friendship sure
Posts are your best friends, and sure I got one tonight.
anybody mission stopped
We were on a mission to get there, and I don't think anybody would have stopped us tonight.
You have your expectations and you want to play the same way every game. It's not going to come easily.
guys spent
We've got a lot of hard-working guys. We've got guys who have, for the first time, spent their winters working hard.
downtown giving high morning people supporting walking watching
We were walking downtown this morning and people were giving us high fives on the street. A lot of people are watching us and supporting us.
bags body everybody ice putting successful
Everybody was putting their body on the line. I know there will be some ice bags out there. That's what you need to do to be successful in championship-like games.
call feedback friday game guys hopefully tuesday watching yelling
It's going to be different. I've never experienced that. I think I'll be yelling at the screen. I think I'll be yelling at the refs. I think it's just going to be like watching an NHL game on a Tuesday night. I'll be watching and hopefully give some feedback to the guys if they give me a call Friday night.
bottom brothers came five great guided guys leadership leading program proud seniors taken team testament
It's been a testament to how great our seniors have been and how their leadership has really guided everybody. From when I came in here, they were only sophomores and they were always the guys that were even leading the team then. They've really taken this program from the bottom to the top. You can't really say enough about those five guys. I'm really proud of them and they'll be my brothers for life.
attitude everybody hope prove rest team
We want to prove that we're not the team that we just showed. I hope that's with everybody on our team. If we use that attitude the rest of the season, I think we'll have success.
apply feels learned lessons lose past point taught
We didn't apply those lessons that we should have learned in the past. It's just another point to look at to say this is how it feels to lose and if you don't apply the things you're taught and the things you learn before the game, you're not going to play how you want to.
