created environment few great hours stay
I know Hideki wanted to stay and we wanted to keep him, and that created a great environment for us to get it done. Thankfully, we got it done with a few hours to spare.
easy guy track
I know he's not an easy guy to track down in the winter.
guys played role surprised
I have to be surprised that these guys have played such a big role for us.
believes desire question strong
I just know the desire was very strong for him to keep playing. He believes without question he has a lot to offer.
baseball chance progress specialist sure until
Before we progress, we want the specialist to make sure there's nothing we're not missing. We're not going to do anything until the back specialist has a chance to give his opinion, tell us there's nothing going on.
baseball competition contracts decide dictate happens healthy hopefully league major performance rotation stays
Hopefully everyone stays healthy and their performance will dictate what happens from there. Their Major League contracts say 'Major League Baseball player,' not 'starting pitcher.' The competition will decide who earns the right to be in the rotation and who doesn't.

He's someone that is getting better every year as a prospect. He pushed himself onto our radar screen last year.

He still feels it. Obviously we're going to take it slow to make sure he can get through this and get going again.
great saying surprised until
He's such a great player, I'd been surprised at the end of this thing we're not doing something. Let's play this thing through and see where it goes. I'm not saying we'll do anything soon. I'm not saying we're not going to do anything until the very end. I don't know yet.
ready takes time
Hopefully, we won't need more than that. When he's ready, we'll take him. If he's ready before 30 days, great. If he takes the whole 30 days, time will tell.
high however level next ready timing turn wednesday works
I don't think I have a high level of concern, it's just a timing issue. I think he will be ready for his next turn but that may not necessarily be Tuesday. It may be Wednesday or Thursday, or however that works out.
blame brian credit deals gm gotten seeing stay tampa tired title work
I don't know if Brian will stay or leave, but I do know he's gotten awfully tired of seeing Tampa get credit for all the deals that work out and him getting the blame for all the ones that don't. It's like he's the GM in title only.
