along anxious both continue faith game great obviously prudent reason running until
We'll find the right balance, ... We have great faith in both backs. It was great to see Jamal have the game he had. There's no reason to think he couldn't continue along that path. Until Chester is healthy, that's obviously the prudent way to go. But Chester is running real well, and we are anxious to get him back into the rotation.
act coach great knew learning mike rookie starting
When you're starting out as a rookie coach with those two, my plea was, 'Act like you're learning something, OK, so I can keep my job.' They had something like 35 years experience. I would say, 'Tell me what you want to do and act like it was my idea.' They were great that way. You knew Mike would be a great coach.
confident turned week
We'll see how the week goes, but we're very confident that he has turned that corner,
came deal good great next obviously plain spot work
We've got a lot of work to do, plain and simple. This bye didn't look to be in a particularly good spot when it first came out. But obviously right now, it's what we need because we have a great deal of work these next two weeks.
plain work
We've got a lot of work to do, plain and simple.
stepped stop
They stepped up to stop the run. They were going to do it and they did brilliantly.
indication
They put him in a cast, so that accelerates it. That's not an indication that it's any more serious.
anybody denver excited heard last listened pulled week win
They pulled clips from our last win here, and after the Denver game. We were excited to win those. Give us that. But anybody who listened to me all week long has heard me say nothing tasteless, nothing classless, and nothing disrespectful of the Titans. I didn't do it.
against betting fans jets line rocking upbeat
They have a right to be disappointed in me and the way we've played, but I'm betting that our fans when we line up against the Jets are going to be rocking and rolling. We better give them something to be upbeat about. If we can deliver, I think we'll be off and running.
deal faith great knowledge knows phase plays solid supposed vertical
They're going to try to play-action and make vertical plays down the field. We've got a great deal of faith in Chad. He has knowledge of the defense, he knows what he's supposed to be doing. He's been solid for us in every phase we've put him in.
based calls certain compared defensive dictated focused lewis runner style
They're going to be very focused on a Jamal Lewis when he's in the game, and their defensive calls will be dictated by that to a certain degree, based on what they think we're going to do or the style of runner that Jamal is, compared to Chester Taylor.
doctors fine game healthy optimistic
They're optimistic that he could be fine game time. Certainly, if the doctors say he can't go, he can't go. But he has not been healthy, and you have to be healthy to play this game and this position.
operative question target variety wide
There's a wide variety of things we could do. The most operative question is, who would that be? We could target a lot of guys.
potential rehab via
There's always the potential via the rehab if it flares up again. That potential always exists.
