Our house survived I say that because there are 50 people there,
Right now, the dust is settling and all you can do is think, 'Where do we go from here? Where do you start?' ... You can't call the local carpenter to come build your house. His house is gone, too.
He had just a phenomenal year last year. I think anyone who has any football sense at all knows that these five games (are) no indication of what type of quarterback he is,
Guys just stepped up to the plate and hit home runs. It was fun to be in a game like that.
Had we gotten into the playoffs, I don't know if anybody would have wanted to play us. If we would have gotten in, I liked our chances. Who would have said that five weeks ago?
He may have been best player I've ever seen and certainly was the best I've ever played with or against,
My older brother, Scott, was swimming around the house trying to get the kids. My younger brother, Jeff, has three little kids. They were trying to get them up in the attic. My grandmother, who is almost 90, they were trying to get her up in the attic or on top of a washing machine or a counter or whatever. Fortunately, they all survived. But now, as bad as that was, the worst is yet to come.
My mom, two brothers, their families, my grandmother, my aunt and my uncle are all in a like a 25-square foot house with no power and a tree on top of it,
I really like all music, but mostly Country, older R&B, and the good classic rock.
I probably slept two hours last night, and the whole time I slept, I had nightmares about should I go or should I stay? If I go, what do I do? If I don't go, how guilty will I feel for not being there?
I don't know if we have to prove anything to the rest of the world,
I called back probably 30 minutes after I got that message and got Scott's voice mail.
I don't think there's any substitute for experience, because experience sometimes is better than talent. But if you're unsure of what guys can do, there's only one way to find out and that's play for real and see.
I can't believe it's that long. I love this game.
