baggy bench chills gave gets hit hopefully meant momentum run watch win
It gave me chills to watch Baggy do that. We've got some momentum going right now. We're doing the things we need to do to win games, and when Baggy comes off the bench and gets a hit like that, it just makes you feel like it's kind of meant to be. We'll hopefully run with it now.

I think this is huge. To get a win today was really necessary. Everyone knows we play well at home. This should be a big lift for us.

I think they're professionals and they're going up there and looking for something and trying to hit it. I don't think they're thinking too much about the history of us, but if they are and it can work to my advantage, that's great.

I just didn't want to fall behind, 3-and-1, ... and take a chance of him getting on base. So I just wanted to throw a strike.

I haven't seen the replay, ... Obviously, it got a lot of the plate. But that's what I was trying to do. I was trying to throw a fastball over the plate because I know he isn't a home run hitter in the regular season. He hit zero, right?

I'm upset about it now. But Tuesday it's going to be gone.
guys maybe pitching work
I need to get that in a better area. If I'm getting guys out doing that, then that's what I need to do. If I'm still not getting guys out, if I'm still not pitching as well as I want to, then maybe I need to work on the other pitches.

It was great just to see him out and about. He had tons of energy last night, and it was nice to see him.
expecting game guys might throw
In the past, guys might be wailing away expecting a fastball, but now that they know I throw so many sliders, it's different, ... This is a game where you have to make continual adjustments and get better all the time. Otherwise, you're going to be struggling.
