Upon graduating from high School, Hill entered Bowling Green State University. During the summer of 2011, he was invited by Nike to help Taiwan men's basketball team as a consultant. I think if we don't make any trades, or we don't change the team at all, you have to look at playing Johan (Petro) and Robert (Swift) and throwing them the ball, putting sets in for them, developing them even further, getting Damien (Wilkins) on the floor even more. We got stops, we're not a great defensive team but the team we had on the court at the end did what they needed to get the stops. There is a lot to be hopeful for and the focus is here. I wanted to keep the team focused on improvement and that was my goal when I took the job. I think it got to a point where I felt good every night about our chances to win. And that's what you want, to go into each game with a legitimate chance to win.
