He took jump shots with a hand in his face. He shot the ball a lot but when he had to make them he made his share.
human personal pride talk
He's a pretty competitive human being and he's got a lot of pride. I talk to them about personal and professional pride a lot, and he's got a lot of that.
kept ray scoring terrific
We kept scoring and then Ray got hot. That's a terrific win. They're awfully good.
last team wins
We just weren't there. This team has been through a lot, but we've had some pretty significant wins in the last 12 games.
ahead huge stayed step training
We just weren't there, sorry, we just weren't there. It's huge to have a training camp. But they were just better than us tonight. They were a step ahead of us, stayed a step ahead of us. We just didn't get in the game. Nothing worked. We just got our butts kicked.
seattle shame team
To me, Seattle has always been a cornerstone of the NBA. It would be shame if the team had to leave.

chance fought ourselves position quit shot
We didn't quit and fought back. We put ourselves into a position where, if we make a shot here or there, we have a chance to win.
bench compete guys none phoenix played rested
We didn't play. None of us. That was embarrassing. They played their bench because they play Phoenix (tonight). They rested their front-line guys. Our front-line guys couldn't compete with their bench.
bad beaten compete denver excuse gave guys none schedule
We didn't play. None of us. That's embarrassing. Our front-line guys didn't compete with their bench. There was no excuse for our performance. I gave the guys (Thursday) off because of the upcoming schedule and I shouldn't have. As bad as we played, Denver should have beaten us by 50 and they didn't.
