I think we were bigger and stronger in some areas, and we were able to wear them down.

Kids don't care. Whoever can take them down the field and score and help them win ball games, that's who they will follow. In talking to one of our players, they said, 'Coach, this ain't no church league.' We're trying to win ball games, and whoever can get the job done and do the best job is who this team will follow.

He just made less mistakes. He was more aware of the offense and he did the little things, like throwing the ball on time. He's improved and improved his arm strength.

He just didn't feel comfortable on the run. He tried to accelerate through one time and it just wasn't there. He couldn't push off well.
