Nothing against them, but we improved. It's our second game and their first. We made adjustments. If we had played each other on the first game, it would have been closer.

If (Brink) falls on his face, we're lucky as heck to have a darn good guy right behind him. It's a tough, tough decision. I love Josh like a son, and it's hard to tell a guy that the other guy's (it). But he's a man, and he was very good with it. He's still going to help this team and he's still going to compete for that job.

This year, he's a lot more confident. He knows the offense well. I think he worked really hard this summer and improved his physical ability.

This year, for us, it kind of turned out like the preseason in the pros, you know. They have their three exhibition games, the way it worked out -- not that we weren't trying to win them. And then you got a little break and then you start the conference.

We always thought he had great potential. He's just going to keep getting better and better.

kick kicked next returns three yards
The next three punts, he didn't kick it out of bounds, and (Drew) returns the first one 68 yards to the 4. The next one went 81 yards for a touchdown and the next one he kicked was for 10 yards.

That really got us going. It was a tight game until the second quarter. What got us going was the interception for touchdown.
