career good
We'd like to think he'll end his career here. He's just a good fit.
opening regular
If we were opening up (the regular season) tomorrow, I think that's the way I'd go,
advice certainly decision happens share situation wants
If that's the right situation for him, I would talk. If he wants any advice from me, I'd give it to him. Certainly the decision would be his and I'd share with him any advice that I would give to him. We'll see what happens and we'll go from there.
course difference himself last length pace robotic seeing understanding year
He was a robotic quarterback a year ago. He's been able to pace himself over the course of the year by understanding the length of the season. All these things are why you're seeing the difference from this year to last year.
element gives guys speed willie
He was very impressive. Willie gives you the element the other guys don't have, the speed factor.
bit bone bruise hoped quickly status worked
He worked a little bit today, not as much as I'd hoped he would. It was not really any kind of setback. He does have a bone bruise and it just has not responded as quickly as I'd hoped and his status is day to day.
bit bone bruise hoped quickly status worked
He worked a little bit but not as much as I hoped he would. There's not really any kind of setback. He does have a bone bruise and he has just not responded as quickly as I had hoped and his status is day to day.

He worked a little bit but not as much as I hoped he would, ... There's not really any kind of setback. He does have a bone bruise and he has just not responded as quickly as I had hoped and his status is day to day.

He will miss approximately five weeks, four games. That is the early diagnosis. Certainly that can be give and take, a week here and there. Really, what we thought initially, that is probably good news based on what we were concerned about the last couple of days.
patience tests
He tests your patience. But I go with him because he's a gamer.
coached format full gone guess ideas kept learned places practice receptive
He's coached in a lot of different places and tinkered with a lot of different ideas, but I've kept the same practice format that I learned from him for 14 years here. I guess he's gone the full cycle. He's always been very open-minded. He's receptive to change.
age-and-aging certainly older playing
He's certainly playing a lot older than his age.
ben bit charlie game passing position rhythm
The quarterback position has been a little bit of a merry-go-round; we've had Charlie in there, Tommy in there, we've had Ben in there ... and, consequently, our passing game has suffered. There hasn't been that rhythm and being in sync.
bring business everybody free happens hard including lost people replace
We know in this business it's hard to bring everybody back. They (potential lost free agents, including Randle El) will be hard people to replace but that happens every year.
