We?re just going to try to take advantage of every opportunity we have to put the best team we can on the field this year.
We're doing what we do every year, every spring, (which) is build our team and try to make it as competitive as we can heading into training camp and the regular season in the fall. That goes for every position and every player, across the board.
There are not a lot of tackles who can say that.
The overall competitive nature he brings as an owner and as a franchise (still exists),
He was a very good special teams player with the Giants when he came out. He runs well. He's pretty athletic in the open field. He has some playing strength and some power. He's a pretty instinctive special teams player.
He's had a tremendous career, ... He's been there 40-some years, whatever it is, six decades, (won) three Super Bowl championships. He's been the commissioner of the AFL, been a coach.
Those are pretty good football players. There's no gimmes on that front, I can tell you.
We are disappointed. We didn't make as many plays as them, and there is not much more I can say.
We know Richard is a pretty good force inside. He has been for four years. We thought we could get some force from the outside with Jarvis and Rosie (Rosevelt Colvin).
We'll give it to you when we have it. I don't know any more than that.
We'll get a good evaluation of where we are going against a different type of team than we played last week in Cincinnati. We'll have some different challenges that we'll have to meet. They?re a good team and they have a lot of talent.
We'll do the same thing that we always do. We'll take every situation from week to week and do what we think is best for that week and evaluate it on that basis.
We'll make that decision when we're sure we're not going to have to double back on it. We'll make it when we're sure it's going to be the right decision for that point in time.
You know where I stand on that. Could I have been any further away from the play?
