came forth mourning pass receive shall shame thou thy
Pass ye away, thou inhabitant of Saphir, having thy shame naked: the inhabitant of Zaanan came not forth in the mourning of Bethezel; he shall receive of you his standing.
daughter land pass thy
Pass through thy land as a river, O daughter of Tarshish: there is no more strength.
action fine john love sincerity words
Our love must not be a thing of words and fine talk. It must be a thing of action and sincerity (1 John 3:18).
character endurance hope produces suffering
Suffering produces endurance, and endurance produces character, and character produces hope (Romans 5:3-4).
dwell fear glory salvation surely
Surely his salvation is nigh them that fear him; that glory may dwell in our land.
above darts feet fiery gospel quench shall shield stand taking
Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth, and having on the breastplate of righteousness; / And your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace; / Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked.
bed commune heart sin stand
Stand in awe, and sin not: commune with your own heart upon your bed, and be still. Selah.
deal dealt given giving measure shall whatever
Give, and it shall be given to you. For whatever measure you deal out to others, it will be dealt to you in return.
came covered king laid robe sat unto word
For word came unto the king of Nineveh, and he arose from his throne, and he laid his robe from him, and covered him with sackcloth, and sat in ashes.
forth hold lamp peace sake salvation until
For Zion's sake will I not hold my peace, and for Jerusalem's sake I will not rest, until the righteousness thereof go forth as brightness, and the salvation thereof as a lamp that burneth.
bishop returned sheep shepherd unto
For ye were as sheep going astray; but are now returned unto the Shepherd and Bishop of your souls.
bring devour exalt man
For ye suffer, if a man bring you into bondage, if a man devour you, if a man take of you, if a man exalt himself, if a man smite you on the face.
base bring chosen confound flesh foolish glory god hath men weak wise
For ye see your calling, brethren, how that not many wise men after the flesh, not many mighty, not many noble, are called: / But God hath chosen the foolish things of the world to confound the wise; and God hath chosen the weak things of the world to confound the things which are mighty; / And base things of the world, and things which are despised, hath God chosen, yea, and things which are not, to bring to nought things that are: / That no flesh should glory in his presence.

For ye know how that afterward, when he would have inherited the blessing, he was rejected: for he found no place of repentance, though he sought it carefully with tears.
