Our guards did a good job of moving the ball up the floor in transition, and I just tried to focus on running the break every time. I noticed that helps us out a lot when we get out in transition. I think we lost focus. I think that's the biggest thing. Any time where you go through a stretch where you're getting every shot you want to get, you're making every play, you're getting rebounds on the defensive end ... you're going to have moments where you're going to struggle. I think we learned that when it comes down to it, if we can make big shots offensively we?re going to put ourselves in a position to win because we?re going to get things done defensively. I think a lot of people questioned what position I would play in this league. With some reason, they should have. But considering the way I played in the combine and how much I showed those guys, I was comfortable and relaxed at the perimeter position. I think it's real important (to win the championship) because we haven't had a year in our career where we've won both. So I think that's something that we've talked about also as being part of being a part of our legacy to be able to say that we won both regular season and tournament championships. The two 3s by Ann and Mel were the back-breakers and that's what Coach is looking for. He's looking for who's going to have the guts to step up and take those shots. It is just a matter of putting points on the board. That is something we have been really, really working on the last three days. I think we have gotten a lot better at it already. I am not saying we are the Chicago Bulls or anything, but we have gotten a lot better over the last couple days. It is still a work in progress.

I would say (it's a must-win). You don't ever want to put a game in that situation, but realistically we need to come out with a big victory in order to keep ourselves in that elite class with the top teams in the country. So far we've looked really bad and then we came close. Now it's time to jump over that hump and get a win.

I think it had to be a little frustrating for them. But you have to give us some credit, too. We did a good job on defense, especially down the stretch. It was a tough shooting night for both of us. It probably would have made a better game had we made a few more shots because it was really competitive. It just came down to who made the plays when they needed to make them. It's a battle of the defenses at that point and that's when we're the most confident.
