coming confidence far head lose played regroup sign terrible
I like where my head was at as far as competing. I played terrible the first set, but I was able to regroup and not lose it. That's a sign of confidence coming back.
difficult happy match played
It was a difficult match and he played well. I'm just happy to get through.
against best definitely played
This is probably the best I have played against him. He definitely played much better particularly with his volleying.
bad either per played points second three
You're going to have two or three points per tiebreaker that's either going to go your way or it's not. It didn't go my way tonight. In the second tiebreaker, I don't think I played a bad point.
afraid ball hitting movement played plays shot stretched today whether
I don't know whether it was his movement or hitting the ball on the run. He's not afraid to be stretched out. If he plays like he played today he's got a shot (against Hewitt).
against court good hard max miss played serves
Max played well. He always serves good and didn't miss many volleys. Sometimes you don't feel you're on the court against him. It can go by so quickly, it's hard to find a rhythm.
bit break felt game good played returns
I felt like I had a little bit of a momentum, and then he played a pretty good game to break me. He put a lot of returns in off my first serve.
match might played taylor
I feel like Taylor might have actually played the better match tonight,
bit came cup davis definitely diligence due felt last played prepare quick ready time
I feel more prepared. Last year, you know, I didn't - we played Davis Cup in December, so by the time this came around it felt pretty quick to me. I definitely feel like I did more due diligence this year, was a little more ready to go and had a little bit more time to prepare on my terms.
tennis want being-played
I don't want to live and die with every point that's being played out there now. I'm going to let my coach live and die with every point.
comfort game goal heavy hit level played schedule stuff work
There's always stuff to work on. Obviously, the whole goal is to play well at the Open, ... You kind of try to find your game and find your comfort level and really try to hit your stride. I've always played a pretty heavy schedule in the summer.
against good last matches played row since
It's good. I feel like I played well two matches in a row here against pretty good players. I haven't done that probably since last fall.
played putting since staying work
I haven't played much since Wimbledon. I've been staying in shape, though, and putting in a lot of work on fitness,
against amazing looking monster played roger serving
I haven't had an amazing serving day against him, ... I've played well against Roger from the baseline before, but I haven't had that monster serving day. That's what I'm looking for.
