In everything it's my responsibility. It's my football team. It's a reflection of me.
I knew he was hurt. It wasn't nearly as bad (Monday) night when he was playing as it was when he woke up (Tuesday) morning. It kind of stiffened up on him. He felt comfortable playing. He never said a word about it. He just went out and did his thing.
I like his size and the way he runs the football. I thought he did a nice job of catching the football and I thought he was good in blitz pickup, recognizing people coming. Before he went to Miami, I thought he was a heck of a running back and he was in a numbers situation down there and his number was out. He is a good football player.
I like Mike's mobility. It's important everybody does their job. The quarterback gets the brunt of it. I'm not going to point fingers. Everybody had a piece in it.
I kind of felt that way the last four years. You've got to bring your 'A' game. I know other teams are saying that about us. We've been getting everybody's best shot.
The games have been a little closer and it's given us more opportunities to call some more running plays.
The groin's being affected, ... They told us once the groin's become an issue, then recovery is not going to take place and rest isn't going to help it. There's just too much discomfort to where Donovan can't run and function. We're to that point.
You want to know how he will fit in. What kind of a person is he? Will he fit in? And Jevon gave him a nice recommendation.
All in all, I'm very comfortable with the draft.
All in all, we are comfortable with the draft. Now, we look forward to bringing these players in and seeing how they do on our offense, defense and special teams.
The league has been notified by the players' union that they will be grieving our right to take that action, therefore there is nothing more that I can say at this point.
You could pick out anything and we probably didn't do it well.
You can't go back and do that. No, I haven't.
You can't worry about all those things, ... We've always said the next guy has to step up and that's worked for us.
