I have to give Pittsburgh a lot of credit. They beat us up in every phase of the game. Starting with the coaches, to the offense, to the defense, and then to our special teams. They were the better team today, in all phases.
I have to coach him, and he has to listen. That's part of it. That's taking place right now. I'm not treating him any different than I've treated him before.
I hadn't heard that. I don't worry about that. It's a day-to-day thing, that's the way he is approaching it and we'll see how it goes.
I never question that about him. He loves to play the game and wants to be out there.
I need to do a better job of putting my players in position to make plays on the offensive side of the ball. On the defensive side, I saw some good things.
I never got the feeling like he was trying to do too much, ... If it's not there, and you have to go, you go. I'm never going to tell him to stop running. I'm not going to tell him 'You run too much,' because he has a great feel for the offense. He's very patient with it and he lets things happen.
They'll come out and play hard. That's what this team does. That's important.
They'll be fine. Sometimes actions speak louder than words.
It was great to get those two connected. They've got a special thing between them and it showed.
I like this game right here. I like it because it gives me an opportunity to see what I have outside the first unit. It gives them their last crack at making this football team.
He's solid as a rock. The players know what they're going to get every day with this guy. There are no ups, no downs. From a leader, that's very important.
He's the full package. He can play the run and the pass effectively and he can play outside and inside in pass-rush situations, which makes him very valuable.
I don't know if he ... It's because people are covered. When I say I have to do my part of it, I have to get him in a better situation.
He played corner in the Arena League and did a decent job there. So it's not like he has never played the position.
