We tried to make sure he didn't get a clean look at the basket most of the night. We tried to make him chase us and then force him to make shots that he didn't want to.

We tried to make him shoot the jumper in the first half and we brought help on him (in the second half). He started to find teammates, and that's the sign of a great player. He didn't try to come out and get 50. He came out and nearly got a triple-double. The smart players know how to do that.

We lost all of our scoring from last year's squad, and it's been a problem developing someone to be our striker on offense. But we've got a lot of young kids, and it takes time to learn the game. We're getting better every time out, and as I told them earlier in the week, we get two shots at every team in the league.
