I not only want to play, I want to win. I am really not in the position to do that, so it's not fair to myself or the fans of tennis. I'm going to choose to just try to get my body right and keep working, look at the schedule and see what's next at that point. But right now, I'm not in a position to be out there. I'm way less than 100 percent.
He's the best I've ever played against. Pete was great, but there was a place to go with Pete on your terms - there's nowhere to go with Roger,
He's the best I've ever played against. Everything you try to do, he has an answer for. He plays the game in a very special way.
How do you find words for what this means? ... This has been some of the greatest memories I've ever had on a tennis court.
I don't know if I've ever felt this good here,
I don't know if I can put in context with how this compares with some of my greatest moments on tennis courts, but it's right up there,
I didn't know what I got into there. I guess I was excited to get out there.
He plays the most breakers because his hold game is that good and he struggles that much on the ground game,
He plays the game in a very special way that I haven't seen before.
He outplayed me in the fourth. I was hoping to do something different in the fifth and it felt great.
If I feel that sharp pain on the court, it's impossible to play. That's what happened in Paris. I couldn't do anything. But normally the pain I live with is just during the cool down, the recovery. I don't mind a little pain in the evening after a hard day's work, to be quite honest, as long as I can go back out there the next day and be fully ready to go.
If he's getting the better of me, I couldn't wish it for a better person
I can be playing in front of a smaller group of people and playing the match of my life. At almost 36 years old, I don't take it for granted. That (U.S. Open) match with James Blake was one of the best moments of my career, to be part of something special like that. I hope I have some big moments ahead of me.
I can't think of a better place for me to come out try to find my best tennis again,
