Alan Stuart Trammellis an American former professional baseball shortstop for the Detroit Tigers. He currently serves as a special assistant to the Detroit Tigers. Trammell, nicknamed "Tram", played his entire career with the Tigers, highlighted by a World Series championship in 1984 and an American League East division championship in 1987. It's just kind of the way things have been going for us. We're not catching any breaks.
It sounds like an excuse, ... but it's a fact that this club, the way that we had set it up, for the most part has not been able to be out there the way we would've liked. We thought we were probably going to win a few games. And hey, who says we won't? But right from the get-go, it's been one thing after another.
