Alan Stuart Trammellis an American former professional baseball shortstop for the Detroit Tigers. He currently serves as a special assistant to the Detroit Tigers. Trammell, nicknamed "Tram", played his entire career with the Tigers, highlighted by a World Series championship in 1984 and an American League East division championship in 1987. I give those guys credit over there, ... They have a worse record. They're battling. And that's what we should be doing, to be honest with you. That's the kind of way you're supposed to play. At this point, they have nothing to play for except for what you're supposed to play for: It's another game. That's the job, and they seem to be doing a better job of it than we are right now.

The guy has definitely done everything in his power. I just wish we could've gotten him that win. Nevertheless, he's done a very nice job for us. That's the point I hope gets across. This guy, like others, probably deserves better.

We got pounded tonight, no question. Jeremy (Bonderman) was not sharp and fell behind hitters. It just wasn't his night. They got back on track and we just couldn't stop them.
