There were a lot of questions about him. We played against him all the time when he was with Minnesota. Playing against him, you don't like him too much. Nobody on this team liked him too much when he was on Minnesota.

I think it builds confidence to know you can came back in situations like this. Next time we find ourselves in that situation, we know we can do it. We definitely have a group of guys who like being around each other. And I think something like this makes us even closer.

Any time you put yourself in an unnecessary spot off the field, you learn a lesson. This is my livelihood, not only for me, but for my family and kids. I have more things to think about than myself.

We were picked to finish fourth last year. Everybody in here believes we can compete. You can't win the division by looking forward to the end of the year or the next game. You just have to play hard and concentrate on each game.

I've never had back-to-back plays like that. We had scouting reports, and both times they hit it the other way.

The Sox never did anything like this, going from city to city, mall to mall. It's been a surprise with all the people who have turned out.
