beat earlier games good played relaxed stuff three thrown
We played these three games the way we did earlier in the season. We had so much stuff thrown at us, but once we clinched, we relaxed and beat a very good team.
explain special
I was out of breath. You can't explain this. There was something special going on tonight.
game
tired, over and done with, and we have another game tomorrow.
team tunnels light
We can see the light at the end of the tunnel. We just need to keep battling. We're a team that has stuck together through the good times and the bad times. Our reward is near.
city mall people surprise turned
The Sox never did anything like this, going from city to city, mall to mall. It's been a surprise with all the people who have turned out.
bottom catch compliment definitely fact figure good line numbers recognize stuff
I don't know how they figure that stuff out, but it's definitely a compliment for someone to recognize the fact that I play good defense. I don't know what those numbers mean, but the bottom line is to go out and catch the ball.
hand joey saw soon tried yelling
I didn't even see the ball. I just saw Robb take off. Joey (Cora) was yelling at me, 'Go, go, go!' So I tried to get up and get back on my horse. As soon as I could, I was out of gas. I thought I got my hand in there.
call destiny help maybe night spooky stuff ultimate whatever
But you know what? I'll take any of that spooky stuff -- or whatever you want to call it -- every night if it can help us get to the ultimate goal. ... I don't know. It's destiny maybe. I don't want to say that, because it's not over yet. But if it happens, get back to me -- because maybe it was.
bad call everybody leader looks paul team whatever
He's very even-keeled. Just get out of his way if he has a bad game. Everybody looks up to Paul as a leader and team captain, whatever you want to call him.
pride wear
I'll wear it with pride, all the time.
bottom came chase coach fire guys half lights lost marc nice surprised thrown
I'm surprised more guys didn't get thrown out by what was going on in the dugout. I thought we lost (first-base coach Marc Bombard), Chase and Charlie. I told (Howard) half our roster is gone. Sometimes that lights a fire under your (butt). It's nice that we came out and got the win, bottom line.
chance goodbye house white
I never really had the chance to say goodbye to the fans. I had a chance at the White House to say goodbye to my teammates, but never the fans.
chance goodbye
I never really had the chance to say goodbye to the fans.
anyone good stuff
If there's anyone better right now, I'd like to see him. His stuff is as good or better than anyone in the game.
