The people that keep coming back every year are diehards. I'll go out there to host a panel and I know half of the audience. I see them, every year, and they come back for more because they believe in us. That's one of the coolest things.

To do panels where you get to interact with your fans, in a really intimate, awesome way, and to let them ask all of the questions, is fun to me and it shows them that you care about their opinions, their thoughts, and their passion for your project.

Oftentimes, people start with something, whatever it is, and it's great, but over the years, it loses its focus or way and corners get cut. Some people are fine with that, but I'm not.

I just remember that when Jennifer Love Hewitt released an album a few years back, it was like 'Oh, why is Jennifer Love Hewitt releasing an album?' But if Queen Latifah, or Justin Timberlake, or anybody else wants to be an actor, it's like 'Yeah, I'll go check that out.'

As far as comic books are concerned, I was always a Marvel guy for the most part, although I did follow DC a little. I don't know, honestly I'd just like to play whatever role [that] not just the studio, but the fans think I fit the best into. Because I think, especially in worlds like that, you've really got to do right by the fan base and stay in tune with what they are looking for and what they desire. I would just want to do right by them.

My family was always very supportive. Whether you're an actor or not, everybody hears the horror stories of people going to L.A. and trying to be an actor, and their dreams are crushed, and they end up working for the IRS. So they were always protective to the point that they wanted me to have a backup plan, which is understandable, but there was always something inside of me that knew: backup plan, schmackup plan.

I want to go create my own independent content and entertainment, in new models and in new ways, and essentially show studios and networks that people are good.

Aladdin' was probably my favorite Disney animation when I was a kid. The animation was great and Robin Williams was unbelievable as the Genie. 'Aladdin' was an amazing adventure and the lead character was a hero for guys, which I loved. It wasn't a princess or a girl beating the odds; it was a street rat. That seemed really cool to me.
