We had some big plays on third down that we missed. We've gotta get better and we will, I promise you that. This ain't the same old Dolphins. We're going to get better -- we had a rough day and we wish we had some of those plays back, but we're going to improve. I promise you that.
They got it done right from the opening drive. We didn't have any momentum because we didn't get off the field and when we finally scored and got back into the game, two plays and we let them score.
He bounced back today. You've got to give him credit. He hit the plays when they needed it and we were just inconsistent.
Seems like every year at this time I give you an excuse. Then I say what has to be done, and we do it, and the next year there's a different excuse. This was about the offense winning for us. I'm not sure, for all the time I've been here, I can say the offense had won a game when the defense didn't play well.
