balls best develop dome good hit six somewhere three
Six guys, three bedrooms. If you want to see how good you can become, you have to go somewhere you can play year-round. We hit balls in a dome in college. That's not the best way to develop your game.
airport best
It's probably the best airport I have ever been in, period. It's just so ... easy.
best cup fortunate maybe momentum regardless seeing
Yeah, I'm going to try and play my best regardless of who I play. And seeing that he's the Ryder Cup captain, maybe it will help. I don't know. ... I feel fortunate to be where I'm at and I just want to keep the momentum going.
behind best golf good kept kids lack level offered picked played rather size speed sports
I had good skills, but my lack of size and speed kept me a little behind the best kids in the other sports. Golf offered a more level field. I would have rather played other sports, but golf picked me.
davis experience good hitting played putting start
I've played a lot with Davis and he's pretty simple. When you're hitting it as good as he is, and you start putting it good, it's a good combination, especially with the experience he has.
animal benign pedal
The wind's been pretty benign and that's kind of the animal here. You've got to pretty much put the pedal to the metal.
We don't have a DaVon in this group,
couple experience good guy hard hitting missed putt starting
When you're hitting it as good as he is, and starting to putt decent, it's a hard combination especially with a guy who has as much experience as he does. I feel good about how I played. I missed a couple putts on the back, but that was probably about it. No regrets.
ahead biggest coming driving far good guys hit keys means spot swing transition
I don't hit it as far as a lot of guys do, so I have to be in the right spot in the fairway to score, and that means driving it well. The two biggest keys for me are to make a good transition and to keep my hands ahead of the clubhead through impact. I want to feel as if my swing is two swings: one going back and another coming down.
competition family golf heat hope job loved lucky man people succeeded understood
Golf is not my priority. I would hope people see me as a Christian man who loved his family, who loved being in the heat of competition and sometimes succeeded at it; who understood that golf was his job and that he was very lucky to play it for a living.
complete early gave life winter
Early in the winter of 2002, I gave my life to the Lord. Before I was one, I always thought being a Christian would be boring. In reality, it has been the complete opposite.
dream easter family sunday
Winning the 2007 Master's was a dream fulfilled; culminating on Easter Sunday with my family was very special. You couldn't write it up any better.
accomplish attacking great lofty trying
When you're trying to accomplish lofty goals, and when you're attacking something of great magnitude, you have to have help.
bad cling process rebound tempo trying
If I'm trying to rebound after a bad hole, I just go back to tempo and process and rhythm, and I cling to my routine.
