It's nice to be able to know game by game that I'm feeling what I want to be able to feel,

I was getting forward before I ever had the ball out, so I was late getting out of the glove, ... I was carrying the ball too long and then I had to hurry everything up.

I can feel when I'm doing it right and it feels great, ... It's a matter of repeating it over and over again. It gave me a glimpse of what's there, and that's something for me to get excited about.

I always wanted to get up here, contribute and throw strikes. I feel mechanically, I'm getting to where I want to be. I wouldn't say I'm all the way there yet, but I've made a lot of progress.

I'm a little frustrated it's taking this long, but it is spring training. It is what it is and I know what I can do when things are right.

I think that is the name of the game, me getting the ball on the ground, ... For the most part, I'm definitely a groundball pitcher. I didn't have my best sinker (Sunday), but I was able for the most part to keep it down in the zone.

He didn't want to overwhelm me with a bunch of stuff, ... But I picked his brain and said, 'I don't care if you overwhelm me. I've got a lot of stuff to work on and the last month and all off-season to work on it and want to get right.'
