I was getting forward before I ever had the ball out, so I was late getting out of the glove, ... I was carrying the ball too long and then I had to hurry everything up.

When I was down in the zone and not getting the ball up, I was getting the ground balls that I was looking for.

I think that is the name of the game, me getting the ball on the ground, ... For the most part, I'm definitely a groundball pitcher. I didn't have my best sinker (Sunday), but I was able for the most part to keep it down in the zone.

I have to lower my sights. My stuff felt good, but I got the ball up. I just need to lower the target.

I'm rushing it. When I rush it, my arm is late, and therefore the ball stays up.
excited feels gave glimpse matter repeating
I can feel when I'm doing it right and it feels great, ... It's a matter of repeating it over and over again. It gave me a glimpse of what's there, and that's something for me to get excited about.

I always wanted to get up here, contribute and throw strikes. I feel mechanically, I'm getting to where I want to be. I wouldn't say I'm all the way there yet, but I've made a lot of progress.
