against bit feeling pitches
The thing about Pedro is that even if he's a little bit gassed, he can make pitches for you, ... I had a feeling that against some of those young, inexperienced hitters, he'd be able to make a pitch, and he did.
arm bit body feels ideas knows notions obviously
We have to just go with how he feels day-to-day. Pedro knows how to get ready, and he knows his body as well as anyone, so I didn't go in with any preconceived ideas or notions about anything. His arm is healthy, and obviously he's a little bit behind.
bit confidence goes history hope next pick road share struggle team teams unless win
If we're going to be a team that goes to the next level, we have to play better on the road. That's the way it's been over the history of the game. Most teams struggle a little bit on the road unless you're a top-echelon team. So we hope that we pick it up a little bit more and win our share so we can have that confidence going on the road.
adding bite coffin crucial nail punishment stuff
We're not able to put the nail in the coffin so to speak, just adding on. All crucial runs, all stuff that comes back to bite you later. We must be gluttons for punishment I guess.
baseball bit gods mistake seem showing
The baseball gods are showing me a little bit of everything this year. We just seem to make a mistake at the most inappropriate time.
baseball bit boils gods learning positive showing unusual winning
The baseball gods are showing me a little bit of everything this year, and that was one of the more unusual (plays). I'm still positive about these guys. . . . But it just boils down to learning how to play winning baseball.
barometer base best bit couple emphasis games good guys knocks relax spring training turn whatever
It was good to see him relax a little bit and get going. Obviously, spring training is not the best barometer for how you base these guys but, you know, he was 0-for-20 or whatever and he had a couple knocks so that's why you don't put a lot of emphasis on games like this because you can turn it around in one day.
athletic bit great hands quick watched
We'll see how it goes. But I like his body. He's got a great athletic body, of course. I watched him a little bit in BP, and he's got quick hands and he's got speed.
ball bit funky hand pitcher seen threw
I think you just have to give the pitcher credit. He threw the ball well. Usually the pitcher has the upper hand when you haven't seen him, and he was a little bit funky with his delivery.
almost ball bit expected quite ready seen vintage
I almost expected him to do what he did tonight. I know he wanted the ball and he was ready for this. I have seen him quite a bit in the past, and it was vintage Trachsel.
best bit command finds
He didn't have his best command tonight. He was a little bit erratic. You know, he always finds a way. It wasn't one of his best performances.
ball bit continue good guys maybe start struggling team though
He is part of the team and he's going to be a part of the team. We'll get him going. He's going to be fine. We feel real good about him, even though he's one of the guys on the team that's maybe struggling a little bit right now. We'll just continue to give him the ball when we can, and I think before too long he'll start to feel good about himself.
bad bit hurting obviously picking time
We're obviously picking a bad time to go into a little bit of a swoon. And it's hurting us.
believer bit extra firm guy matter time wrong year
I'm a firm believer that if you can give a guy an extra day, then there's nothing wrong with doing it. Everyone this time of year is a little bit banged up, a little bit sore, a little bit this, a little bit that. It doesn't matter because you have to take the ball.
