Everybody counts, everybody deserves a chance, everybody has a responsible role to play and we all do better when we work together.

The new century demands new partnerships for peace and security. The United Nations plays a crucial role, with allies sharing burdens America might otherwise bear alone. America needs a strong and effective U.N. I want to work with this new Congress to pay our dues and our debts. We must continue to support security and stability in Europe and Asia - expanding NATO and defining its new missions, maintaining our alliance with Japan, with Korea, with our other Asian allies, and engaging China.

I want to nominate a man who's cool on the outside, but who burns for America on the inside.
Learning improves in school environments where there are comprehensive music and arts programs. They increase the ability of young people to do math. They increase the ability of young people to read. And most important of all, they're a lot of fun.
I have said many times-if I hadn't been exposed to music as a child I don't think I would have been president.
I do not believe we can repair the basic fabric of society until people who are willing to work have work. Work organizes life. It gives structure and discipline to life.
We're all in this together is a far better philosophy than you're on your own.
