I think most people don't like others who, without a voice of their own, emulate the other. I certainly don't want anybody just to pick up my thoughts and hand them back to me.
It doesn't get much better than this. We've overcome a lot of adversity this season with injuries and to still be unbeaten at this point is a big accomplishment.
It does take away all the distraction and all the negative energy around us. We're just going to leave town and try to get a good win.
I tell people about it and they don't believe me.
I tell you what, ... I was really impressed with their desire to do something for the school that will be here for a while.
I think if somebody would give him the opportunity today to be a top-three receiver on a team, he'd still be playing.
I think he's the ultimate team guy. He sacrifices everything ... does whatever it takes to score a goal, keep the puck out of the net, motivate the team. His skill is underrated. He just works so hard. I think his skill is underrated because of his shot-blocking and the big hits that he makes. He's always willing to do all the dirty work.
I think he's doing all he can possibly do, probably.
I think he has a lot more confidence . . . because you gain that confidence each year you are in it as a head coach. He's more confident because he's had success. In coaching, success breeds success.
I think he feels it more than we can see it. I don't see anything dramatic, and that's fine with me. If he can throw the ball exactly the way he did last year and stay healthy, we'll be fine.
It all depends on how much effort I'm willing to put in.
It didn't feel good at all, ... Luckily there's no tear but I still have everything right here (points to back of left hamstring). It hasn't gotten any better and it's a little bit colder out here now, a little bit harder to prepare.
It (cremation) used to be kind of taboo, but anymore it's become real popular. It takes up less space, and you're dead anyway, so what's the difference?
It definitely is an honor to be counted on and be seen as a leader. It's a responsibility you don't take lightly and I try to make sure I am always accountable for my actions and to this basketball team. I have been here the longest of anyone and I know what coach Davis expects. I have tried to pass that along to the incoming players.
