coach comfort enjoyed growing somewhere time zone
I have enjoyed my time here, but after 18 years I think it is time for me to go somewhere else. For me to keep growing as a coach I need to get out of my comfort zone and this is a way to do that.
anxious cities county education mayors problems regional school six solve summit work
I'd like to see us solve regional problems by working together, the cities and the county, ... I'm anxious to work with the other six mayors. And I think, too, that it's important for us to do a countywide education summit with all the school superintendents and mayors in the county getting together.
eye seeing
I don't know that we're seeing eye to eye on value. I think we're close.
fight opportunity position saw starting
Obviously, I saw an opportunity for a starting position so that's why I signed. I'm not going to sit here and say I don't want to be a starter. That's what I've wanted to be and that's what I'm going to fight to be.
arm delivery felt guys heading innings miss naked nobody point release spring wants
Nobody wants to miss part of Spring Training. Not only do you have to get your arm in shape, but you have to get a feel for your delivery and feel for your release point and I think that's probably where he felt a little naked heading into the season. He just didn't have the innings the other guys had.
against biggest blue conformity crazy days everybody joining labeled line looks question red seems shut speaking speaks states time
Plus, the show is very interesting to me politically at the moment, ... I think it speaks to our time in the way it looks at conformity and individualism and the whole question of speaking out. It seems to me these days that everybody is just joining the biggest line and not questioning things. And there's a lot of finger-pointing, with the red states against the blue ones, and those in the blue states labeled crazy while those in the red ones try to shut them up.
needs team
My team back in Tri-Cities really needs me right now.
damn good
(Only), he's such a damn good student, he doesn't have to go into coaching.
decisions good hitters job league needs pivotal plays plus reasons voted
One of the reasons she was voted unanimous all league is because as a setter she was such a pivotal part of what we did. She has to make adjustments to all the hitters plus make the plays, plus make the plays she needs to and she did a good job doing those things without getting rattled. She had to make all those split-second decisions and she did a good job with that.
loved question won
Look, we would have loved to have won the ballgame, no question about it,
best last leadership stepped
Last year, she really stepped into a leadership role. I think she's one of the best goalkeepers in the league.
outgoing stayed
Scott was always an outgoing person. He was always on the run; he never stayed still. He always had to be doing something.
chance doubtful goal good playing tight
Sears is real doubtful for this week, and I don't know how long it's going to take (to heal), ... He is not going to have surgery, so that's a good thing. But we need Chamois in goal line, and we need him in the two tight end offense. I think he's going to have a better chance playing at linebacker eventually. But for right now, we need him at tight end.
