I started out with friends of mine in high school beat boxing. Everyone would sort of like be in a circle making up rhymes and raps, you know. That was like the creative outlet for my friends. And I became the sort of the guy that made the beats, like did the beats with my mouth.

I spend a lot of my time trying to draw the attention of actors to the minute and subtle details of human behavior, which was the sort of thing I was looking at when I was a neurologist.

I started buying bits of broken porcelain. I furnished our first flat with pieces of 'junk.' Some of that 'junk' is now worth an awful lot of money. What I was calling 'junk' in the '60s people wouldn't call 'junk' now.

I skied the way I hoped would reflect a positive objective. There's a discrepancy there. There's a moment of confusion and disappointment, but my objective criteria was satisfied.

I showed up here the first day and had my physical, and came in after that and saw some of the lockers, and some of the names above them. I questioned, like, 'Do I really belong with these guys?' Having been around them now, gotten into the flow of things, I'm starting to relax a little bit more and I'm playing the game.

I've been very pleased with the YMCA program and the YMCA staff. I'm hoping there will be some discussions with parents about this, if changes are made.

I've been getting scored on a little bit lately. I guess that's how it goes. It's hockey. It's going to bounce around a little bit. For the most part they've been decent goals. There's a few in there I don't think are tremendous, but not any that were too terrible.
