In this era it's harder for musicians to get together, ... Back in the '80s, we were all at the clubs, you ran into people all the time. Now, everybody's kind of in their own room with their computers. I use making an album as an opportunity to connect with musicians.

In this economy, we don't have inflation as long as you don't want to eat, don't want to drive or move around.

I honestly never tried to tie the two events together. I still kind of disbelieve both events. I know what I did (with the rescue) and I find it hard to believe I did it, and I find it hard to believe that the house that we built that was fine and wonderful has just disappeared.
