We don't like to slow it down. But luckily it went our way.
We shook off the rust early and had one of our better performances of the year.
We played with intensity and we're a good team when we play this way.
We didn't play well in a couple aspects of the game. Against McLean we didn't play defense and at South Lakes we didn't hit at all.
Our hearts were racing as we stood there watching Jimmy at the line, but we knew he could do it because he's done it all year. Whenever you make a big shot like that at the end of regulation, you always take a lot of momentum into overtime, so we were confident we would pull this game out.
Our team goal this season was to win the SWC tournament. We are going to keep working hard to win.
Our goal is to train people to prepare for and prevent emergencies.
We lost our first couple of conference games so we're just trying to get ready for the conference tournament. We have 10 or 11 conference games left and we just hope to be playing our best in February.
He is a tough opponent that goes back to last year. We were a little down at the end. We had five in the finals and four dropped. This was very important because you need to end like this.
We're very young and Booneville is a very good team. They're very athletic and we've had two or three conference games where we've had leads that we squandered. Thankfully, we got this one and pushed it out of reach for them.
The problem is if we allow, especially new people hired the option to whether they chose to be a paramedic or not eventually you're going to run out of paramedics.
We don't do it to disrespect the other team or other wrestler. I need to prepare for the states and need to get in my work for states. It is better for me if I get a good sweat in and get in my work and go longer in the match. That will prepare me better for the postseason and harder competition.
We really need to cut down on our own mistakes, use our heads, and start playing with discipline. Our success is predicated off of our defense. When we complete our tackles and capitalize on our opponent's mistakes, our offense benefits.
That's what eventually pushed North Carolina over the divide. It gave Governor Easley an argument: Why should our people be paying for schools in Virginia, Georgia, Tennessee and South Carolina?
