We certify the dogs once a year to make sure they are reliable and accurate. The first three weeks consists of training exercises. The dogs search vehicles, buildings and conduct area searches - anything they might encounter while working with a law enforcement agency on the street.

We certainly have the door open to new ideas, and these are the first two serious ones we've seen.

We certainly don't want legislation that is detrimental to our school and the plans that have been brought forth do not plan to benefit most of the schools in our area.

We could die from youth ... that's the bottom line. We only have one senior and three juniors and the rest are sophomores.

We're going to adjust. We're going to tell our kids ... it's a new opportunity. We'll be competing with schools we're not used to dealing with. We will definitely take this as a win-win situation. We're not going to take it with sour grapes.
