Our kids really fought to get back in the game and gave themselves a chance to win. We had to play so hard to overcome a lot. We had to play perfectly in a lot of areas. We had to make fewer turnovers, we had to get more rebounds and we had to get to the free throw line more than we did. It was tough to overcome but we gave it a shot.
coaches good kids recently understand
Our kids need to understand how we have to play to be successful. They will feel good about what we have done recently and that is probably the most important thing, not how the coaches feel.
ahead game guys hands leaders toughest win
Our guys know they are about to play the toughest game on our schedule. We know what is ahead of us with seeding and the playoffs. But all that is in the hands of our leaders and veterans. If they want to go out and win these games, then they can.

I was just being me. They feed off me. (Coaches said) 'If you don't stay aggressive, who else is going to be aggressive?' So I took that in and slept on it. That was big.

I wouldn't say it's like riding a bike or a walk in the park. It was a big move. I was making mistakes on little things (in practice) that can be corrected and will be corrected. It's all minor stuff. Other than that, I'm good.

I wouldn't be surprised if they consolidate for a while. Something else needs to happen before this turns into a rout on the downside.

Just like any other game, we need to put this behind us and look at some film. We wanted the 'W,' but we have to learn from it either way. We'll bounce back.
