gets goes monster rebounds shoot speaks
Tyler's play speaks for itself. He's a monster down there. When we give him the ball, he scores. When we shoot it, he goes and gets it and he rebounds and he scores.
act committee county door finance knocking moved opportunity projects time
Time is critical. If the county is not going to act then the projects should be moved out of the finance committee and to another committee that will. Opportunity is knocking at our door and we need to take advantage. The time is now.
against coming game huge last maybe seriously team win
I would never say our team didn't go into a game seriously last year, because that's not the kind of team we were. But we were coming off a huge win against Duke, and I think we were maybe a little overconfident coming into the ACC Tournament.
building confidence focused goal next playing run together
You know what, our goal is to make a run in the ACC, but right now, we're focused on the next game. Confidence is always building when you're playing together like we are.
acceptable defense ourselves pride
We pride ourselves on defense and that's not acceptable for us.
case environment game hostile proved stayed team together
We stayed together as a team and that's what it's all about, especially in a hostile environment like this arena. You've got to stay together, because you're never out of the game and we proved that was the case tonight.
bold deepest happen magical smart statements teams
I'm not going to make any bold statements or anything, but magical things happen in March. The teams that are the tightest-knit groups, play smart and play together, the teams that do that are the teams that go deepest in the tournament.
bouncing country head keeping loss team top tough
It's tough after any loss. That was a loss at home, it was to the No. 2 team in the country and it was a loss when we had opportunities to win. And on top of that, it was a loss to Duke. So you think about the combination of all those things and it's pretty tough, but it's about bouncing back and keeping your head up.
carolina dream gotten help improving mine north team thrilled uniform whatever win
It's been a dream of mine not only to put on a North Carolina uniform but to contribute, and I've gotten to live that dream this year. So I'm thrilled about that, but I'm not satisfied. I still want to keep doing what I'm doing and keep improving and do whatever I can do to help this team win games.
hope nobody playing says trying
There's no question, effort's a big part of the way I'm trying to play. I would hope nobody ever says I'm not playing hard.
complacent feeling good great pushing satisfied stress team
I can't tell you how great a feeling it is for me. But I can't stress enough that the dream's not over. I'm not satisfied or complacent with where I am. I want to keep pushing forward, and I want this team to keep doing good things. We've still got a long way to go.
late obviously sure
I am not sure why it was a big problem, but obviously it was because he has to get his touches, especially late in the game.
contested gets shot takes tougher
You want every shot he takes to be contested over a hand, and you don't want to let him get anything easy. Because a scorer like that, if you let him get something easy, it really gets him going. Then he's more comfortable making tougher shots.
