Wendee Saintsing
good lazy played start team
We played very lazy at the very start of the game. We let (Limestone) do some things that they do well. They're a good team if you let them be.
played terrible whatever win
We've got to get our win back. We played terrible there. We let them do whatever they wanted offensively.
against almost christmas couple played threw weeks worked
We almost threw it out before Christmas but we played it against Coker (College) a couple of weeks ago and it worked well for us. We went back to it and it worked well for us tonight.
effort everybody good played playing team
We played well enough for me to get everyone some playing time. We had a good team effort and everybody played well at times.
active forth great hands led played steals
Active hands led to a lot of deflections and steals for us. We played really well; everyone put forth a great effort.
defensive good team work
(Erskine) put up a good defensive effort. They made us work for everything we got. They are probably the hardest-working team we play. They're a good team, and we'll probably see them again.
allowed broke defense driving lane
Our defense broke down. We allowed them to keep driving the lane and were fouling them when they were making shots.
advantage anderson games opportunity tough worry
We can't worry about what Anderson does; we had an opportunity and didn't take advantage of it. We've got two tough games left.
turn
But they have got to turn around and do the same thing.
came finishing foul glad good hurting junior tough
Lees-McRae had good inside-outside people. They came to play. I didn't think they would make it this tough on us. I was glad No. 4 (wiry 6-foot junior Denise Wilson) fouled out. She was hurting us with her drives, her finishing and making foul shots.
crucial depend player
She was crucial in that one. She's a player that you look to down the stretch. In the crunch, you depend on her to do the things she does well.
depend player time
She has to get double-doubles for us. She's a player that you depend upon at this time of the year.
division glad team teams top tribute
We're glad to still be playing. I think it's a tribute to the team that we are one of the top 64 teams in Division II.
bit focused glad intense second win
We weren't very intense in the first half. We were a little bit more focused and were able to do some things, defensively, in the second half. A win's a win and we're glad to get it.
