It's the one thing we can actually do something about. Obey the laws. If you're going to run fast, stay in the middle of the channel because the manatees spend more time on the edges where the grass is.
good hit maybe means recognize
It's a good thing we can't recognize them all now. It means maybe they're not being hit as much.
opportunity presents
When the opportunity presents itself, you have to get lucky. The opportunity went our way this time.
afraid
Some of them are afraid of nothing, and some are afraid of everything.
calves count difficult playing tough
It's really tough to count them this year. They're all out mulling around and the calves are playing together. So it's difficult to tell who's who, because there are calves all over the place.

In the second half we played really well, but we were lethargic the first half.
