We accomplished a lot of things this year and I am proud of the girls. And we have a lot of talent coming back. There's a lot to look forward to.

We want this to be our coming out party. Laurel plays in the state's toughest district. There are no slackers in that division with Wayne County. We have to get up for this game.

I was coaching Purvis a few years ago, and we had South Lauderdale down 28 points at halftime. South Lauderdale not only came back and won, they also won a state championship.

I hope we can have another good year with the players we have back, but we're going to have a difficult schedule. We are going to schedule a lot more teams throughout the state and play in more tournaments.
