Both teams played tight. With the rivalry both teams wanted to beat the other and in games like that it comes down to fighting through it. Our defense got us through it tonight.

It's tough to simulate her quickness in practice. She's so quick, and we're not real quick. She sliced and diced us inside.

We didn't have good patience on offense. We didn't execute well or take advantage of getting it inside. We had good looks from the outside; we just didn't knock the shots down.

I think Brooke really stepped up her game in mid January (and) Andrea put in a ton of time in the off-season and played with the confidence of someone who put in that time.
