Overall, we were balanced offensively. We made some plays in the passing game to continue drives, and I think that was important. But overall we had a lot of things we need to work on and improve on.
I get overshadowed a lot, and that's frustrating for me that I do get overshadowed because of what I do off the field,
If someone knows me and they have a friend that's there, I've gotten a phone call.
We just have to be, not just a little bit, but a lot better in the passing game than we've done in the past. It's going to get to the point where we're going to have to be a lot better.
You look back on the numbers and you can say it means a lot, but I just go out and play. The more carries you get, it helps. ... You have to be patient.
These women can't be my mother, ... In a sense, I live through them. My dreams come through them.
He's a guy who can take over a game like that. He's not the biggest guy. He's not the strongest guy. He's just a guy who overcame the odds.
I love doing what I'm doing off the field, but you want to get recognized on the field and get respect. People are in need and it's good to help people move forward, but on the field, I want people to understand I am a vital part of the offense and this team and that they need me.
I'm drained a little bit and I've been really up and down emotionally. It's not just my family, but all my friends and their families. They're homeless. We have to try to help them figure out what to do next. The have to start over. I need to rest my mind.
I just think we can have a long-lasting effect on people's lives if we can do things together instead of as individuals, ... I just felt like when you're sitting at home and everyone's calling you and everyone's pretty much in distress, it's like, 'I have to do something.'
I'm probably about 90 percent. I really don't have pain, but I'm not 100 percent confident.
I just tried to tell them that if we do things together we can touch more people and get more done. A lot of people around the country have done a lot of things, but you never know if it's enough. ... It's not just homes. They need to rebuild their lives.
As a team, we just didn't come out well.
It's always good when some of their best players are not in the game, obviously, but I don't think for us that we look at it like that. They pay guys to come in and make plays. I don't care who it is. Those guys come in and expect to play at a high level.
