Right now, I would say it's disconnected. It doesn't mean that we don't have our kids out in businesses, but there is a lot of industry in the area, large employers, and there has been a disconnect there.

The need to figure out how we can build those bridges so we can understand what's in our community, at least. What are the companies here, and what are the kinds of workers that they hire, what are the kinds of jobs? These are living-wage jobs, not just service-oriented jobs.
