When you have got an early lead like that, you don't want to back off at all,

They came at us hard and they kept hitting. We took the 2-0 lead and when you do that in somebody else's building, you had better get that third one. We weren't able to do that and they got the momentum.
definitely guy leading needs seems whenever
Whenever something needs to be done, it seems like he's the guy who's out there, leading the way. He's definitely a candidate.
early few kept lead pounding
When you've got an early lead like that, you don't want to back off at all. But I think they just kept pounding and kept working, and they got a few breaks, got a few goals, and before you know it, it's a 2-2 game.
definitely filled guys home job leadership seem strengths
There's definitely a lot of guys at home who could be on this team, too. At other tournaments, guys have filled in and got the job done. Look at the leadership and how we always seem to gel. That's one of the strengths we have, too.

Even in the third period, we kept working, doing things well and coming up the ice together. We had everybody on ice on the same page.

Everybody in our dressing room sees what we have coming back and how close we came. I think we learned a lot from the experience.

I wasn't surprised by any of the selections. It's a good group and we've got a great chance to win.
easier focus mentally obviously trying
I was obviously just trying to come in and I really wanted play well. Sometimes when you're on the ice, it's easier to focus mentally than it is when you're off the ice.
awesome daniel everybody guy job penalties replace scoring step team
I don't think you can replace a guy like Daniel Alfredsson. He does so much for this team and he is having such an awesome year. He's doing it all for us: Killing penalties and scoring big goals. I don't think it's up to just one guy to step up when he's gone. Everybody has to get the job done.

I don't think of anything too flashy, just get the puck at the net.

Obviously, there are some important things going on with me. But it was the right time to come back.
