cut format game home lose turnaround winning work
We've got our work cut out for us in Seattle, ... This format is when you lose the home game first, it's just a bear. But that's not to say that (a turnaround and winning the series) can't be done.
decisive enjoyed enjoying good nobody players thinks win
I enjoyed it when we were the favorites. I'm enjoying us being decisive underdogs, because nobody thinks we'll win this series. So, yeah, I'm enjoying it. I've enjoyed it all. What I'd like to do is see our players play as good as they can play.
believe games hard win
It's hard to believe we could come in here and win two games on the road.
healthy looked playing playoffs seattle since team type wins
This is the first playoffs since 2000 we've been really healthy, ... Sheryl is having an MVP type of year, Tina's getting back into form. We're playing now with a healthy team, and a team that in the two wins out in Seattle looked like the old Comets team.
ahead force gets hard hold realize thompson time tina tonight win
I said ahead of time that if we were going to be a force in the playoffs, Tina Thompson had to be a force, and she was tonight. She was outstanding. I thought this was as big a win as it gets tonight for us. You just don't realize how hard it is to hold them to 66 points.
basketball four game gold greatest handled helped herself respect win
I respect everything about Sheryl, how she's handled herself on and off the court. To me, she will always be one of the greatest ambassadors for the game of women's basketball and as a person has helped me win four (WNBA) championships and two gold medals.
elite everybody forefront giants longer shot teams whatever winning
(Sharp) has been at the forefront of whatever we've accomplished in women's basketball. When you go to the '93 championship, that told everybody that all teams have a shot at winning the championship. It was no longer a championship for the elite or the few. I just think she's one of the giants of our game.
game meant slept wink
I hadn't slept a wink in a week. I've never been in a game that meant any more to me than this game.
everybody opened possible teams tech texas win won
The championship opened it up for so many teams out there. Everybody thought it was possible to win a championship after Texas Tech won it.
changed good half second worked
We changed defenses in the second half ... and I thought it worked good for us.
maturity michelle
I see the maturity of Michelle Snow, getting better and better each day.
against backs played wall
Our team, when they've had their backs against the wall this year, have played pretty good.
against best played sacramento
Offensively, that's the best Sacramento has ever played against us.
ready tuesday
We think she'll be ready for Tuesday night.
