battle chance comfort found gave good innings kept strong teddy zone
Teddy pitched great. He started off a little but slow, but he found his comfort zone and pitched 7 2/3 good strong innings for us, kept us in there, gave us a chance to battle back.
aggressive far john managers strikes theories
Different managers have different theories on that and so far (Jays manager John Gibbons) has been aggressive on that, which I like. I'm not one to give strikes away.
against battle constantly hit
You don't hit (Johnson), you try to find a mistake. You have to get in there and constantly battle against him.
found playing ways win year
We've found ways to win all year long. If it comes down to playing a little small-ball well, we can do that, too.
batting expect fourth frustrated perfection
Batting fourth comes with some expectations. I'm a perfectionist, I expect perfection out of myself and when it doesn't happen, I get frustrated with it.
daughters nobody obviously stayed wife word
Obviously, nobody probably would have said one word otherwise, if he had stayed with his wife and daughters one more day. But he wanted to come back and play, and he did, and obviously contributed in a very very big way.
daughter nobody obviously otherwise stayed wife word
Nobody would have said one word otherwise if he would have stayed with his wife and daughter one more day. But he wanted to come back and play, and he obviously contributed in a very big way.
nobody stayed wife word
Nobody would have said a word if he'd stayed one more day with his wife and daughter, ... But he wanted to come back, and he contributed in a big way.
bit bite couple deficit good punch roll runs team tonight worked
This team is not one that's going to roll over and go away. We're going to scratch, we're going to claw, we're going to put good at-bats together, try to get a couple of runs here and there, bite into the deficit a little bit and punch ahead. Tonight it worked out.
good roll team time worked
This team is not one that is going to roll over and go away. We're going to scratch. We're going to claw and we're going to put good at-bats together. This time it worked out.
conditions control dangerous fifth mother nobody playing since sit team top unsafe
You can't control Mother Nature, but the conditions were unsafe in the top of the fifth inning. Obviously, that team was probably more dangerous since they were playing defense. However, nobody should've been on the field. And it's frustrating on top of all this that we end up getting a loss. That just doesn't sit well.
conditions fifth nobody top unsafe
Conditions were unsafe in the top of the fifth inning. However, nobody should have been out there.
ball battle game good great stay team
It was a good team effort. We were able to stay in the ball game and battle back. It was great to see.
balls couple found hit holes
A couple of balls found some holes and I hit a couple on the barrel. It was nice; it's been a while.
