That last five, six minutes of the game, we just figured they were exhausted and that's why they didn't go no-huddle. We saw they couldn't run the two-minute offense, and the only reason they didn't, we thought, was because they were exhausted.
I looked back at Tom and he saw the same thing I did.
I don't really know what my next move is. I may stay here permanently.
With some teams, even if you get it in range you're sweating bullets.
We got on a losing streak and dropped four in a row. Now we need to start us a winning streak.
He's been a good friend and a good teammate for a long time. I wish him the best of luck.
I could jump, I was quick, I could catch and all those types of things, but when it came to just flat out speed, that's something I had to work really hard at.
I'm not one who's big on accolades and all those things. I did my job and I'm proud of what I did and how I did it.
As far as natural ability, I was always athletic.
When it comes down to it, I always played hard for my teammates and I played hard for my coaches no matter who it was, ownership.
He's a very hard hitter, but that's what you've got to do. You've got to make them think about it when they're coming across the middle. He's very, very aggressive. But I didn't take offense to that. I love contact. I don't mind him hitting me in practice. That's great. I just got poked in the eye and it hurt. I just threw the ball at him, and everybody made a big deal about it.
I actually feel like a rock star. I feel like I'm important here.
He does the same thing every week. Wasn't nothing he was doing different. We had our hands on the ball. We dropped it, too. It's all our faults.
Having Corey, it's huge. You can sit there and pound him in there in weather like this. He didn't have very many yards in the first half, but you can come out there in the second half and wear them down, the way we did. When you can keep running Corey at them, it's a great plus.
