batting behind cricket fantastic justin match mean test
It doesn't mean he's finished. Also we'd like him to concentrate on his long-form-of-the-game batting and reignite that partnership that he has with Justin Langer because, after all, in Test match cricket they've been fantastic in being the cornerstone behind a lot of big scores.

Stuart has done everything asked of him when he's been included in the Test team and continued to push his cause with several fine performances for New South Wales.
bowling brad count cricket decision easy fair fast given glenn himself looking position quartet scores squad test together unlucky
Brad Hodge can count himself unlucky not to be included. It is fair to say that the (selectors) were looking for Brad to put together some really big scores in (domestic first-class) cricket to consolidate his position in the test squad but unfortunately that hasn't happened. The decision on the make-up of the fast bowling quartet was not an easy one, given that we are without Glenn McGrath for this series.

What he's done over here (in Pakistan) didn't count for too much. It was good for him to get over here and play some cricket basically and get some runs under the belt.

Martyn has had some time out of the team and we feel this is the right time to slot him back in at number four.

Justin is back in the squad subject to fitness. It was a logical decision for us to have him back in the team, particularly given his record and seniority within the group.
bit bowling conditions extra form jason losing michael offers provide ready required sorts
Michael has been bowling fractionally better than Jason but it could have been an either-or call. He's been doing well in all sorts of conditions and is ready after losing form in England. Shaun offers that bit of oomph and if required he can provide some extra punch.
account bowling difficult lack
We have to take into account who may be bowling better at the time, and that's been difficult with a lack of games.
